Im back on the roadster, I would really like to drive it this spring. The body is ready to come off for the last time, finish some minor welding and do some of the dreaded sandblasting.

Check out the cool American LaFrance firetruck air filters I found at a friends junk yard.

    Thanks Dale....

I regret not paying more attention to this project...Iv been trying to get rid of lots of overstock or what most folks would call hoarding! I just dont have the time to build all of the cars I have so im letting a few go.

Glad you found some focus, I'm going to use it as inspiration to focus myself.

    I built a 20' x 20'

My town requires anything over 400 sq ft have a full poured foundation with frost walls.....BUT up to 400 sq ft can be a slab, so I made it with 2 floors and 10'-6" ceilings on the 1st floor and a 3' knee wall on the 2nd.

hey pete, glad to see it coming together, looking forward to seeing it out and about. I am in process of putting up a similar size shop in my backyard also, blizzard of 2013 (nemo) put a stop to it though!!!

  21. Super neat. Fram made a breather for flathead V8's that look a lot like it but slimmer

Managed to get some time in on the roadster. Got the frame finish welded, primed and painted. She's a roller again!

Got the engine cleaned and painted than popped her in the chassis.

Looks good Pete. I saw it a couple years ago at your show and was very interested in it. I did not know you had a thread going on it, glad I stumbled upon it. keep up the good work!

Someday I'll build something around my Caddy flathead!
