Posting this for a friend here in the UK and looking for some transportation help in New York state. The lady in question has purchased a Stelber vintage bicycle as a birthday present for her husband and she needs the bike picked up from the seller in Rome NY. and dropped at a shippers in Albany where it can be shipped across in the back of a truck that's coming over. Not expecting a favor for nothing, just that the seller can't or won't help out. Anyone that maybe drives this route and can help could email Estelle direct at following email address. [email protected] It's a long shot but hey, don't ask, don't get. Also, if moderators need to delete/move the thread, understand totally, as I said its a long shot. Thanks L.P.
Here is a bump back to the front page. Sounds like a good way to start the New Year...good cheer and all that... .
You could try and post this in the HAMB Relay group... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?groupid=214
There might be a company with a pickup and delivery service between those two cities that has a regular daily run. We have a company here in Central Washington that does that between several cities and gives same day service at a low cost. The best bet is still someone on here who makes that 110 mile run on a regular basis.
