love it... built a custom cabbie, '04 to '07... my body gave out... sold... errr ! parts ; '40 one ton headlights, cutdown A headlight bar, upside down Harley handle bars,narrowed '37 truck grill w/ '36 hood side trim as center strip, '35 car hood top w/ '34 beltlines, '35 truck hood sides,'34 car cowl w/ '40 convertible windshield posts, '50 dash, '34 coupe doors w/ '37 tudor tops / armrests, '39 door handles, nickel plated cut down door garnish, power windows, shortened cockpit, sectioned '47 car tail light mounts, '46-'48 tail lights, the '34 from a NJ. plate welded into the rear panel, '34 horns hogged out with the inside painted white w/ blinker/parking lights, channeled 5" in the rear and 1" in the front... . . scratched a pic of the project in '03... . in my garage in '07 . new owner made some unapproved mods...
Feels like a vw rod /mg. Probably why these cars are so tricky to pull off as a custom or sport rod. Very clean, cohesive and thought out though. I don’t think it feels to stubby . The shrunk down grill and head light placement is mostly what messes with me. Cool car either way you slice it
You didn’t by any chance keep that cool narrows truck shell, did ya. I see that there is a shell with vertical bars now, I hope that he didn’t cut the originals out...... I’m looking for one.....
