Bad time of year to take a vacation when the plan includes camping, with temps all around us in the 100s. So we knew what we had to do, drive early in the morning, and head for the mountains.

So we did a once over on the 46, cleaned up our tear drop, and hit the road. We didn't stop until we made it to Cloudcroft NM, where we were welcomed with highs around 80 and lows in the 50s.

We spent a few days just kicking back, ate some great food, saw some beautiful scenery, and had a all round good time.

That looks like fun. I've got a chassis for one that was built out of Model T frame rails years ago and has wide fives on it. I plan to tow it with the 48 or the Model A some day when I build a trailer on top of the frame.

Sounds like an awesome trip, I have been looking for a teardrop trailer for a long time. It's the only trailer I would want behind my Falcon.

    Terry-

Really glad to see you are enjoying the truck and putting miles on it. I have a good friend who also has a teardrop trailer and is rebuilding it so he can take trips like you are doing. I lke the black wheels better also.
