    Well, i drove an entry level Lark with an R3 Avanti mill & 4 speed when in my late teens. Scary fast it was !!! Even teh G T Hawk with R2 & 4 speed was no slouch either. Some kid bought the Lark & totaled it the first week he had it.......

    I think the automatic 3 speed trans was the ticket over the 4 speed manual shifted GTO.
    Could have been because the GTO was off topic here and the Adanti with the supercharger isn't?

    They did have speedometers that went up to 160.

    Yes, it is stock. The race took place at the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Race in Michigan back in February.
