882 casting heads: Any good?

I recently bought a set of '882' casting sbc heads.
Are these any good or 'better' than other stock heads?

These are stock heads. Typical smog castings. Not bad just not anything special. 76cc chambers and 1.94i with 1.5e.

Raven, I need a set of fresh sbc heads.

 

Have them checked carefully for cracks before use. When I worked in a machine shop in the '80s, we had a pretty big pile of cracked 882 castings.

 

Where should I check for cracks?

Between valve seats especially around the exhaust valve seat.
