We were on the road for two months this summer in the motorhome with the '32 pickup along for the ride. After attending Northwest Deuce Days in Victoria, British Columbia and we drove across the most northern route I could find and saw six national parks, Devils Tower and the Black Hills of South Dakota before heading home almost 6000 miles later. We used the '32 for our driver through all the parks once we parked the motorhome. We put 1200 miles on it just driving through the parks. It was the National Park Service’s 2016 100th Anniversary. Here's a few shots in the stunningly beautiful Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park.

There are 36 of the famous Red Buses of Glacier that were made by the White Motor Company and are Model 706 dating from 1936 to 1939. If you don't have a ride it would be a great way to see the park. They have them at Yellowstone National Park too and naturally they are painted yellow. They are all modernized with Ford 1T commercial chassis and run on propane/gasoline, probably with the V-10 engine. Ford donated $6 million to restore them. They are the oldest touring fleet of busses still in operation anywhere in the world. It was cool to see two old timers from the 30's still on the road doing there thing!

  10. The debate concerning "too much chop" on this 5-window will probably rage on forever but, I think it's BAD-ASS and I'm so impressed that they took the time to not just chop the windshield, but keep it functional as well. 014w_2M9D6124.jpg

by wicarnut posted Aug 24, 2013 at 12:12 AM[/GALLERY] . A few Pic's of my 32, the nicest Hot Rod I ever had, traded for it unfinished, finished it, enjoyed it for 7 years, sold it, moved on to a 51 Merc. It was my vision Of a 60's rod, hit the mark for me, made me smile, looking at all these great 32's cause a little sellers remorse for me, but no regrets, can always find another 32, it's not over till my ashes are cold and I am at the BIG show.
