Technical 78 transmission case question

    Hi

    i could find the info so i would like to ask it here.
    is there any relevant difference between Rhd and Lhd 78-7006 transmission cases?

  2. Probably no difference except to change the external levers on the cross shaft.

    yeah thats what im thinking too. just change clutch shaft ..

    I was looking at the Ford hogshead I have for my flathead a while back thinking it would be all too easy to put the clutch shaft in backwards and have it come out the right side. If there are any complications involved I'd imagine the guys down under will chime in when they come on.
     

  5. I have a 78- case in my shop (original trans from my '38) and it looks like all you'd have to do is put the clutch shaft in the opposite direction for right hand drive,
