I recently bought a disc brake kit from the dredded e-bay for my 64 nova wagon. The guy i bought it from couldnt tell me exactly what master cylinder to use with it. Im also wondering if i need a dist. block, proportioning, residual pressure or combo valve. It will be a disc/drum manual set up. any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Mac

For non-power brakes = raybestos # mc 39177 fits 72- 77 1/2 chevy pickup, non power disc /drum. I have used a bunch over the years with great results.. Dave
The metering, or "hold-off valve", really should not be used on vehicles they were not designed to be used on. Same for the "combo valves" with fixed value prop valves, the "designer" or "fad" at this time. Corvettes never had a disc/drum system-they went from drum/drum to disc/disc in '65. JFYI
