Sorry Len I dont get on here very much , my 65 B/FX was converted to an A/FX at Bill Stroppes before being shipped to Pflueger L/M in Hawaii for driver Earle Char . My last name is Hampsmire not hampshire ( pronounced hamps-mire )
Earle Char's 65 A/FX ( one of the 15 Stroppe B/FX's built , converted to A/FX by Stroppe when still new )
At the track today...and the red car is the shit!!! 10.80 FE powered Bad Ass!
if it was one of the original 15 Bfx's, what was the serial number? I assume the car itself came thru Estes on the West Coast and then to Stroppe to complete the bfx mods? You can email if you like at: email@example.com
It was comfirmed through Rick Kirk back in 89-90 that it was one of the B/ FX cars

Detroit based Stu Evans drag car... dealership was involved in Drag racing into the late 90’s. Dealership now longer exists today
