Anyone seen the new Dolly Parton country video. Some cool shots of a mid 60s Black Riviera in there.

One step? You're generous. That's a "Well, the workmanship is nice." car if I ever saw one.

  17. 64 Rivi, with the 65 treatment.. Dad n Uncle chopped & shaved it in 67, after coming back from Vietnam

The Rivi with the blk top/wht flmd bottom, is Denver Mullins from Denvers choppers. My Dad is shaving Larry Hortons gold Rivi in the background. That's Franks Paint & Body and the 57 SD & 56HT(the 56 sits in a garage and still looks like that today-turquoise w/ gold pearl) were Dad & Uncles

I just noticed the 57 SD has a 57 Buick Grille and the dagmars removed.. Dad was pretty cool back in the day! Still is with me!

Fishbeck, awesome pics from back in the day. Dig up some more. Was Franks in San Berdoo?

Your first post and you show us how someone fucked up a great car. That Rivi is pretty much the anti-HAMB. You really need to Read This First! and figure out what the place is about before you post more crap like that.

  20. Franks was in SB, you are correct.. Frank Navarro, was the owner

The Rivi had air cylinders up front also.. pretty neat for the early years

    The car was called Fantasmagoria..

Here's a '63 we worked up in the shop (sorry about the wheels, not out choice). We relocated the headlights into the fenders, and made a grille that matches the spacing, count, and thickness of the bars of the fender grilles. Here it is, sans chrome:

I'm not crazy about the flames on that Riv but the landau arms actually look pretty sweet. I'm guessing they came off a late 1960s fordor T-bird.

Here are a couple of pics of my 63 towing a 1947 Kit teardrop and a couple of my 65. I no longer own the 63 but I have owned the 65 since 1994.
