I have a set of great looking 61 hubcaps that I would like to run on my 64 (came up on them extremely cheap) I like the 61-62 hubcaps because you can paint them to match the car and would look bitching with a bullet in the center. Here is the kicker, the 61 hubs are 16", I've done some research and it looks like the wheel size for all 61s are around 8.00x15. Is this just an oddball size I have or were some 61s running larger wheels? And I did search it on here too but all I came across was a few stale posts from '08.
as far as i know all cadillacs from that era are 15's they will not fit all 15" wheels though, so maybe you have an odd ball wheel?
I think ryno is right. I have a 64 CDV and have put 61 hubcaps on it. They look good. You might have an oddball wheel. Can you post a picture of the wheel and of the 61 caps you got? There is a guy on this site....I think his name is bagmitsu. He has a picture of a 66 with 61 caps on it. Search bagged cadillacs and look at the 53 and 66 blog by him. Thanks.
