History 60's Styled Customs

So I'm thinking of building a 60's styled custom and I was wondering what that would entail

What are some of the trends to the late 60's early 70's era of hot rods & customs.

Heavy flaked paint is on my agenda but I was wondering about other things that aren't so obvious.

Photos would be great also.

 

60's style mild custom, nosed, decked, shaved, heavy flake roof.
