60s 70s ford truck bench seat width???

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Hans' Rod & Cycle, Dec 15, 2010.

  1. ladies, gents:
Anybody have a Ford truck they could measure or even know if the bigger 2 ton or so trucks have the same width seats? Usually the cabs are the same, just different fenders etc. here's the deal, there is a early 70s big truck that has a pristine black bench seat in it and it has the recess for the manual shifter from the factory, really cool. I was hoping it could be swapped into my '54 chevy truck....Anybody??? The truck is not accessible to me at teh moment to just go and measure ....thanks for any input, Hans

The guys at fordification could help. I know that they were interchangeable from 67 to the mid nineties. They should be all the same width. I wish i could help more.
