60 ford disc brakes?

my friend has a 60 ford wagon, wants discs on front, question is what will work and where to get stuff. can you put on disc with out having to use dropped spindals, he just wanted to see if any other years of ford would cross over and made to work. - Thanks

 

A buddy used Granada spindles and rotors with K-car upper ball joints,

worked like factory and the stock Granada spindles are one and a half inch lower!

Of course, your friend knows what he wants. But I always wonder, why convert from a perfectly good system, just for the sake of having discs?, unless it's a road-racer. Save the money and spend it on something that matters, Just my 2-cents.
