I wasn't gonna post this but then I saw Marcus' and thought what the hell. Anyway, just got the power, etc back to my home tonight. Haven't had it since Friday 2:00am. Just cleared over a foot of snow from the driveway so I could get into the garage, then said screw it, too cold and I'm tired. Makes me wonder why I moved away from Cal in the first place when I see all this shit. Oh yeah, I used to like the snow! Any Utah Hambers have the same fate?!
Yep! fourth time digging into my garage since friday. This time it was the drifts caused by the wind out of the north. Ah, winter, ya gotta love it. NOT!!!!!
OHHH hells no!!! THAT is the main reason why I havent left this state(CA) yet.. freezing ass cold and brain melting heat just dont mix with me... 'Course the flip side is I will pay 4 to 6 times more for a home here(if I can ever afford it) but... I dunno. Snow/heat VS a larger mortgage (and supposedly a larger income to make up for it).
Lost my power at 6:00am Saturday and didn't get it back until 3:00pm Sunday. Woke up Sunday morning to a balmy 50 degrees in my house. Running out of places to put the damn snow!
Yeah, now we have the damn wind drifts all along side of the house. Our street STILL hasn't been plowed yet. Have to practically put in 4x4 to get into the drive way.
