Alright, so I finally got off my ass to see if I can mount my gas pedal onto the rod. I dug back the carpet and looked everywhere but cant seem to find a place to mount it. Is there anyone with a 59 on here that wants to show me real quick?
There are two threaded holes in the stock floor that secure the base of the pedal to the floor. If someone has replaced floor pans they may be gone. Try leaning the stock pedal against the throttle "spoon" it may help you find the holes. There is actually a pin that holds the top of the pedal to the "spoon".
