The car is coming along nicely! Are you planning on putting the bed to use much? El Caminos make nice parts haulers. :)

  3. I am gonna have to spray some soda cans with the SS White, then spray the different pearls over them. That's how dad did it, back in the day. I'll be able to see if the urethane clear works, once the SS is dry. I like doing stuff like that, anyway!

You always make me laugh, Mr.Gee! Hot damn!

  5. I have taken care of a lot of things that need to be done. It's not that things are that difficult, but things are getting easier.

Lookin good with lots of progress. Seeing the front clip getting roughed in makes me get all itchy to get started.

    Which one goes first???

  8. I always feel guilty in the back of my mind, when I'm not working and the weather is nice. It's been raining here today, so it was a really nice time visiting with mom today.

I'm mucho better-er! Moms have a way of doing that!

    Gracias, Senior!

  9. Elco first.. hands down! From the picture, yours looks like a great place to start.

Looking at the Impala picture, an it looks as if the insert area on the rear quarter panel is blended from white to green. What's funny is, that was the first idea I had for that area. Since I'm using the Impala moldings on my Elco

  26. Getting things ready for some body solder. I seen a video of Bill Hines, doing his thing. It answered quite a few of the questions, that I've had.

Lots of time consuming work today. The kind where you look back and wonder.. Huh?! What have you been doing all day? Removing the rust and coating the inside of the header panel

Mine was severely rusted, I found another one that was rust free but had dents, the inside support panel was good, so it was all mix and match.
Everything looks great, I'm sure yer dad would be happy.
Man, even I miss him, and I never met the guy, but it seems like I knew him, as I do you.
