"Annie" has sat for a long time.I don't think that a PO just decided one day to quit driving her just for the fun of it.I naturally thought that the engine was probably junk but..SHE RUNS.... Reinstalled the starter, hooked up some loose wires, gas(You know the drill) and after 2 days of checking and re checking ..She runs. No smoke or funny noises. I didn't let it run long enough to check the transmission but that will happen soon.Of course I am expecting the worse. Then I have to deal with brakes which I am sure are just perfect based on the handy-dandy duct taped wire nut being used to cover a hole in the fill cap of the master cylinder.
Nothing better than giving new life to an old engine. Just go ahead and use a mustang master and re-plumb the whole thing. Check my post" my 59 edsel wagon build" I havent done anything all summer on it, but with the son off to college now, I hope to get back on it before too long. Greg
