ok for the 59....got the rear pass door in first coat of primer and same for the trunk lid and some of the front fender ....its been cold and i only have a little heater so im goona try to bust this side out before its to cold out ...the front door just needs blocked and its ready for primer ...rocker is all welded up and now i have a little patch for tomorrow and then on to the big part of the back rocker thats all rotted and mangled ...this will be the challenge but once i get it done every thing will be easy !i just cant wait to see the whole car in primer or atleast this side !!!

wow , face tattoos your even more rockabilly then the average hip cat ...

if your doing all that the bodywork and making it smooth put real paint on it, flat black was old like 5 years ago.

Like the VO hood ornament to match your band, sounds like some heavy metal to me. Hey, what the heck you have some heavy metal there, I hope the side trim stays on, it is really a knock out and then it won't look, slab aided. New cars with hardly any trim are awful, don't go there. These are rare and cool models of the MoPar, glad to see you working with it. In my opinion again, if you are going black, hot rod black with a little satin finish would look nice, flat black is not only a little dated but a rough one to take care of. The satin finish cleans up nicer and is not so sensative to finger prints etc. Neat project man, will be a real fun cruzer! ~sololobo~

I used 77 NYer spindles on my '60 Plym, worked great. You'll have to narrow the tie rods, rod ends & the adj sleeve. grind down the knoby turn stops. On my plym the distance between the A Arm mounts was apx 7" & apx 6" on the NYer, but it did fine.

Its been a while but I got a lot done! Drove the car all summer and started the rebuild this winter I got 75 newyorker spindles that bolt on for disc brakes!!!! And a chevy master cylinder booster combo that bolted in with very little work ...I'm pulling the 413 to get heads done and mild motor work ...got a pair of headman headers that fit perfect and clear everything and started to shave and do a miled wire tuck also plan to switch to a one wire alternator

I think I liked it in the stock form better, but last time I checked I didn't put a dime in it. Keep up the progress.

Fire wall is coming along I'm just having a hard time with the flux core welder but I got a little more to clean up and then get my friend over to help me hammer and dully it .. the steering box will be coming out tonight and shiped to steer and geer in Columbus and I will be dropping the 413 off to the machine shop for a over haul ... next on list clean up spindles and paint them buy new rotors and calipers then find some one who can sand blast my replacement rear quarters or look into some chemical rust removal ...any tips?
