did a lot of work last time - but it's the work you can't see - you know what I mean
--but heres some stuff I did at the trunk -- I was missing all the latches for the trunk - so I took a latch out of a newer ford and welded it into a 2inch metall piece
    [IMG]
and that's very nice to hide the solenoid
    [IMG]
at last - a cover -- but this is for screw on -- hmm if you need to reach some wires or the solenoid
    [IMG]
for sure it will looks clean when side panels are mounted and the car is painted - I hope so  -
--- I had to turn around the car outside - so I took some shots - this is how the biscayne looks right now

the 58 is at the painter in the moment - so there's time for the smaller work
--disasambled the bumpers/brackets and recognized the first time the panel where the plate goes to, has two holes for some lights or whatever - the only thing I know is, I don't need em
    [IMG]
    so they had to go
    [IMG]
so I filled the holes with louvers -- I know that never anybody will see that but those ugly holes are away
    [IMG]
    -
and I painted the rims and got my hubcaps ready

    then - zinkprimer was next
    [IMG]
after grinding that "before" primer --- epoxyprimer was next
    [IMG]
---damn - now I have to wait 7!! - 7 !!days befor I can grind that a little to go to the next step - hope the llady will be ready for paint at 01/06

    You're kidding, right?

The car is bitchin' regardless of bodystyle. Hell man, I want a four door, firstly because it'll be nice and convenient (and easy to justify as a family man!) and secondly to piss off all the haters!

"Yep, I stripped a two-door hardtop for parts and sent it off to the crusher."

Hmm that is kinda beat to say that, especially noticing the the guy is building it in Vienna Austria. I dunno, but I was just there last month and didn't see a plethora of 2 dr hardtops roaming around to choose from. I think this car is bitchin. Besides, this 4 door sedan I would venture to say would have no problem bringing in bucks when sold, especially being overseas + quality of build. Just my .02 :)
