I am looking a a couple of 56' Plymouths - one 2 dr sedan, and one two door hardtop. Is the glass the same? The hardtop has good glass but is rusted bad - a parts car. The 2 dr sedan is in decent shape, but needs a windshield.

55-56 plymouth glass is very hard to get - so it would be nice if I could use the hardtops glass.

All '55 and '56 Plymouth windshields interchange. The only difference is tinted or clear glass.

    Hardtop/convert is W-382 ... Sedan & wagon is W-384. They do not interchange ...

  5. I need a 56 Dodge Regent sedan windshield myself.....still looking!

  6. 2-door and 4-door sedans and wagons swap.

    Ragtops and hardtops swap.

    Two windsheilds, as stated above.

I know first hand that the hardtop windshield will NOT fit into the sedan. Seems like the sedan windshields are harder to come by, I don't know why, you'd think it'd be the other way around. I'm looking for a good green tinted sedan windshield if anyone has one.

A Dodge windshield will fit, but not a Chrysler or DeSoto if you were wondering.

  9. yep def difference between HT and SDN as stated above.....that being said,
Anyone have an extra green tint for my `56 Coronet sedan lol
