I rebuilt the regulators and all is well, except, When i roll the windows up or down they will travel part of the way and stop. Wait about 15 to 20 seconds and i hear a "click" under the dash and they work again. Any way to fix this?
The click is the relay. I am guessing that the window is binding and tripping the relay. That probably isn't as much help as you need, but it's a start. Other sites to check are: http://www.vintagethunderbirdclub.org/ http://www.thunderbirdtalk.com/ and maybe even: http://www.y-blocksforever.com/forums/ this is a Y-block site, but there are a bunch of guys there with baby birds. There is also a yahoo group called classicbirds that may be of more help.
+1^^^^ VTCI is a great start for any questions. Alan Tast is a member there and he's on here also. He is THE guru for questions regarding '55-'66 Tbirds.
If you also replaced the glass run channels at the same time, you might try some spray silicone lube in the fuzzy channels. The new fuzzy runs often create a lot of drag that causes the circuit breaker to trip. If that is the case the silicone will help and it will get better the more you use it.
I agree with M S, they are in a bind. Try holding and pulling up with your hand at the same time to confirm a bind.
