Working on a 55 F 100, I am an old school mechanic, will be a rat rod, did the king pins, installed a duel master cylinder, and a Mustang gas tank, will put a tool box in back of the cab, behind that a dump cart, made to fit. Have a 87 350 (Vortec) and 350 trans for it, trouble is with the engine, need to change things on this engine to use old parts, what all has to be done to run a carburetor on these engines. Do know about the water pump, and fuel pump, just found out about the intake manifold. Seems like useing an old engine might be the way to go.
