'53 Vette road racer (clone?)

    We raced a double header at the Milwaukee Mile road course this weekend. This showed up late on Sunday. Nobody around to talk to. It didn't race.

    Except for the cage it looks old, neat hot rod.
     
  3. looking at the dash, seats, cage etc, I'm betting it's Not an old build

  6. Did a little more research. It was built as a clone of a car that raced the Pan America back in 1954. They raced it in 2010 and crashed heavily.

    I'd say that running in that race and little smuckup gives the car some real creds clone or no. Hopefully they used one of the kit bodies for the clone.
     
  8. I don't no if the car was a "real" vette or not, it is a Clone of the car that raced in 1954, just don't know if it started as a real vette or new body
     
  9. Looks like a real frame,looking at whats showing of the front suspension to me....
