53 Oldsmobile 88 -Disc brake help

Good morning guys ! Finally decided to join the forums for some help with my 53 olds 88. New to the 50's cars and wanting to switch over to disc brakes in the front for some added stopping power for NYC traffic.

I can find PLENTY of kits made for 49-54 Chevys stock spindles but little for the olds. Was wondering if anyone knows if in 49-54 spindles were the same amongst GM Cars. Curious is my olds and a Chevy passanger, or even a Vette from 53 share the same spindles.

Martin Fuxl @Martin_F did discs on his early Olds as I recall and may have some info in one of his posts. I will try to locate it for you or you could send him a PM. He does not post much anymore but would respond to a PM.
