A new 4 door project just making to have fun and teach with. Going to be fitted with a cammed 318 and air bag suspension. Were already balls deep into it so i figured i would start this now before i got too far ahead. Got it cheap so as we all know it needs some serious love and i need to fine tune some sheet metal skills and as bad as the pictures look there is minimum body rust just rockers, otherwise the floors are trash but im going to teach my buddy how to roll and fabricate sheet metal so here we go!

Here is some more work we have done to it.... just pulled the springs out and put some fancy control arms in that i will have to get pictures of soon. The green is an option, two tone white roof green bottom with white interior pieces and green dash on the top for now.... Who knows where it might end up but thats about the only plans for it right now.

Right now were waiting on getting all the metal together for the floors and building the motor and such... Just thought i would put it up because it is a 4 door and i think it will be a nice cruiser.

Shot the dash today t just hang in the shop and show where were going with it. The crazy green i mixed with lots of gold, looks good in the sun. With a cream white color on the roof and the green on the bottom i believe it will look good. Lots of hours till we get there but i suggest who can do it just paint something so they can see and have some motivation to work on the project.

Haha yea ohwell the price we pay to enjoy our hobby sometimes. If it becomes out of hand i will slap some clear with a satin finish on there.

Here is the '53 my friend Binder just picked up. It sits on a Continental frame and runs a late model 318 V8, needs work but will get it.

Right now gathering metal for the floors and trunk and stripping the rest of the OE stuff off the frame. Brakes are going to be stock up front and disc in the rear with a ford or Chrysler rear end depending on whats the best fit. It will be just a cruiser no super hot rod.

About to do the suspension work on it so we can roll it around. Going with airbags and a home fabricated balljoint conversion that i will cover very close since there is alot of potential there for people to learn from.

I did this car in the late 80's while I was in high school. Sold it in 92. It was my only car the whole time I owned it & it was hands down the most reliable car I've ever owned. I drove it hard & it never left me stranded.
    Good luck with your project!
