53 buick stick shift problem

hey im wondering if any one knows if the tourque tube from automatic is the same as a standerd shift. also the chasis if for a 322 nail head and im converting it to a straight eight stick help me please

 

Way back in 1961, I changed out my Dynaslow and put in a 3 speed. To the best of my recollection, It was a bolt in swap. It was in a 47 Chev, my third car in which I had done a swap. I had installed the engine, tranny, and rearend. Damn I loved that car.

If is't the same series they may be the same: Special to Special. The Super and Roadmasters had a longer wheelbase then the Specials.
