This is the big one this weekend Oct. 27th. Is there one older? It is one of the most enjoyable events I still go to. If you are going get there early.
I will be in attendance. The swap met has been very good for finding a lot of Ford parts. The show down town is good but the other part at Thunder road is excellent.
for years, my friend Pat Etzkorn would take his 1940 CHEVROLET moonshine runner to this event. He was certainly out of place with his Chevy, but it also fit the bill as a shine runner. Unfortunately, he passed away last December. And tragically, his car was stolen from storage a month ago. Please be on the lookout for a 40 Chevy coupe with 327 and a special compartment in the trunk. It is black.
Bob send info to Hemmings they post stolen cars for free if you have the police report. Where was the car stolen from Ga or Wisconsin?? Good luck finding.
...............Do you or his family have any pictures that you could post up in another thread on here, Bob?
The weather was perfect Friday, clear and in the 70s. This year, at least on Friday, '60 thru '67 high performance Fords were the big deal but the parking lot was full of just about everything. Sadly it was raining early this morning and the forecast was calling for it all day so we headed home.
