50 shoe box 302 t-5 intall question ( help )

Trying to get my swap into the old shoe box, but I can't figure out how to get the factory crossmember out ..I see 3 bolts on either side of the frame rail that looks to be holding the crossmember in.I removed all 6 and its still not moving is there something I'm not seeing ..please help.thanks

 

There should also be bolts on the top of the crossmember on either side. In total there 4 trans crossmember bolts per side.

 

You talking about the trans xmember? look at the floor pan for access holes to the others.

 

Got it ......before I read this found 2 small gromets inside on the floor,popped them out and there they were 2 14mm bolts removed them and the crossmember fell out onto the floor.perfect

That's close enough for a 9/16 wrench or 3/8 bolt

 

They were 14 mm sorry if you had a diffrent size in your car ..but that's what I had
