50 Chevy Progress Report

    Lowerd 3" all around, Shaved white walls thanks to Nads, New Steering Wheel, rear package tray my wife made for me, several pieces and parts of garnish reinstalled, Hub Caps, lost the fender skirts, Straight pipes and several oil leaks to get the shop floor well lubed!


    By NO way am I even near done. I just wanted to share where Im at

    I wish mine was even CLOSE to what you had to start with.. For a few simple mods, it already looks better and tougher. What else (BIG PLANS?) do you have in mind?

    Its one sticker at a time! The plans come and go so well just have to see what happens. I know Im NOT chopping it or shaving any handles. Maybe a more Cholo BOMB look

  8. Looks great. I think the coupes look great unchopped. Although Ponchos car might convince you otherwise. Please keeep us posted on the progress.

    I like the drop, but prefer the original wheels and caps. The Olds "flippers" are too much. Maybe wide whites though?

    Hope you can resist the urge to hack it up. Just my 2-cents, of course. Do what you will, and have fun.

    I like the dog dish caps better too, I'm just not a big fan of those flippers. Maybe with thin trim rings the original caps would look nice.

    The color's really nice in person, it's hard to describe, it's almost like a candy.

    I hope you find a sun visor for it. I agree, it should be cholofied, not customized, you being a Mexican deep in your soul.
