Looks like a '52 or '53 Powerglide engine got stuck in there at some point - note the '52-'54 mounts ... The Cad lights look to be professionally done.

 

Lots of potential for a nice custom in that one.

 

If you guys haven't watched his videos I highly suggest checking them out. He's got some really cool short 3 episode series about bringing home a car he's found, getting it running, and doing some body work. He's a hell of a body man

 

I believe the taillights are aftermarket, closely resemble mid 50’s Willys pieces,will search for a pic.
