49 F1 Bumpers on or off

Here is a question.
1949 f1 pickup.
After some paint and body work what looks better.

What is the preferred...leave the bumpers on or take them off?

 

Bumpers in my opinion. Makes them look lower.
I put speed holes in mine just because.

 

front on, back off

Both on, as long as the rear isn't a heavy duty step bumper.

 

What do you do with no back bumper?

 

the back bumper can be a little bit if protection if you get hit. make some new brackets and raise it and pull it in closer

 

I run my black truck without one and I like that I can fold the tailgate all the way down without a bumper

 

No bumpers. Put nerfs on it....
