While I am not looking to actually buy anything as this is not my car I am searching for parts for this 49 Buick roadmaster. I'm trying to help somebody out. The radiator is missing on this car and as far as I know that is it. I have searched for 5 hours and found nothing. Does anybody know of a reproduction that is made for the strait 8.
I bought a radiator from Walker for my 49, but I am running a 455. It mounted to the stock bracket. I think you could use on on an original straight 8. The only difference might be where the bottom and top outlets are and they could adjust those. Or, you can have one made by any number of aluminum radiator builders. Or take the measurements to your local NAPA and look through their radiator book and you might find a stock one that will cross over
