What are some options on slamin the shit out of my 49.I have the rear suspension figured out but I cant figure out what I want to do for the front. I know that mustang II is prolly the best bang for the buck but I want to do it cheaper if possible. I will trade a stiff ride for riding low. I cut three coils out of the front and it sits on the bump stops and just doesnt sit low enough for me. If anyone has some good ideas or parts they are willing to part with let me know. oh yeah I always like pictures of them too. Inspiration!
    Thanks

Have you tried reversed spindles? I'm sure I've seen aftermarked dropped spindles for fifties cars advertised in Street Rodder often enough.

    Hey homo...whats up..?? [IMG]

I have that whole front clip that has Fatman dropped
spindles etc. etc. all nice and clean, rebuilt, and perfect...

only problem is it's still welded on my truck...

I'll be MII'ing it soon hopefully, so if you want me to,
    I'll save it for you...

p.s.- yet another summer wasted without my Rivi...
Eric lags more than you know... whatever...

spindles or MII are your best bet if you want it low and not riding on the stops. Or in my case, raised crossmember, MII and spindles for a extra dose of lowering

  5. I´ve heard some where that 53-54 spindles (or uprights) drops a 49-52 one inch, seems cheap and easy......
