Technical 49-54 Chevy 2door

Just curious if anyone knows what the differences are on the doors from a 51 Chevy to a 53 Pontiac (Canadian)? Is the inner shell the same with only small differences in the skin?

53/54 is quite a bit different than 49-52, the shape of the roof changes so the door tops are not the same, vent wings different, different window regulators, etc. A '53 Pontiac could use doors from a 53-54 Chevy, but the earlier ones don't interchange.

 

Awesome thanks for the info. I have Pontiac doors and was thinking of making a mold of them for glass. Just to mess around. I know they are hard to find he doors so thought it might be kinda cool to make and maybe have something useful in the end
