Is it a 41 buick compound intake? I have been looking for one also and they are big dough everywhere I find them.

Yes, it should fit.....................pricewise, you are on your own......I do not know what they are bringing when sold. What is it worth to you and can you buy it for that amount?

A 263 isn't a big motor; the 320 that came in Roadmasters is the big motor.

The twin carb setup you speak of is probably the 41 248 intake and if it is on a 263, it will fit your 248

Pricewise, I saw a rough one for $250 at the Douglas County fairgrounds swap meet in Lawrence, KS a few weeks ago. Probably would have bought it if I hadn't already spent all my cash.

248 and 263 are both small straight 8's, 320 is the big one. 248 and 263 manifolds (and a lot of other parts) are interchangeable.

  8. Had a 41 intake on my 53 Special with the 263, fit like a glove. Worked OK and sounded great with the split exhaust too. I used Ford Holley 94 carbs and was very happy with the outcome.

  9. Yes it will fix just fine,I had one on my 47 super 248! Uncle Bill

248 was the engine compund carb intake and dual exhaust manifolds came on , they will bolt onto a 263 , 320 engine was physically bigger in size wont fit ,

I have the set up on my 52 263 and running the holley 94's straight up full-time linkage, and true dual exhaust. I love it and it runs great and strong...
