48 chevy with SBC. What headers will fit around steering?

Hey All,
Exhaust is laying on the steering shaft, what headers have you used to clear the steering? Block huggers?

Speedway has fender well headers that might be the answer you are looking for. I used them on a 38 Chevy because the Mustang steering shaft took up too much room. $200 if I remember correctly. The only negative is that the exhaust is on the outside of the frame, in my case I was using floor mounted pedals and there really isn't enough room for the clutch linkage and brake cylinders etc and an exhaust pipe (at least for me)
