So I'm just going to be replacing my shock links for now but I have no idea how to get the old ball parts out so I can put the new ones in. Anyone ever had to deal with this?
Heat and a big hammer. Could try an air hammer as well but I haven't tried that personally. They are a tapered shaft and really get lodged in there tight. I'm curious if anyone else has a method that I haven't heard of though. They can really suck to get out
Haha, well that's good to know. I was worried for a min that they threaded in there which didn't make sense.
Nope there's the thread for the nut and then s tapered shaft. be careful heating the perch mount you can melt the rubber out of the sway bar link pretty easily
