Saw a cool '47 Cadillac sedanette, northbound on Sepulveda in El Segundo today: immaculate glossy black with WWW, very low, shaved deck, twice pipes, maybe skirts were extended to bottom of fender. Just gliding through traffic as an understated spectacle. Completely bitchin', the best and most unexpected sighting I've had on the road all year. Anybody know this car?
Yeah, I know it. I helped Alan Mest pull it out of the original owners garage in Gardena 15 years ago. An old school low rider guy in Redondo bought it, fixed it up and has been driving it for about 14 years. Very cool car. Factory stick too which is really rare. Oh yeah, got the package, THANKS!
