430 MEL Intake Manifold

    Hey, Looking for a source for a press in hose nipple that will fit this 7/8" bore next to the thermostat, (T-Stat bypass).....I found the other fittings but not this one. 4BBL intake , casting # C3VE 9425-D

    would a 3/4'' peice of ridgid copper pipe/fitting work? on fe manifolds its a 5/8" hole and 1/2" copper presses right in so 3/4 should work with a 7/8 hole.

    Sounds pretty good, any source for a steel tube?

    the only sources i know of for the steel are local. shouldnt be hard to find in your neck of the woods i'd think. i always use copper since it wont rust but stainless would do the same. use red loctite when you press it in and it'll last forever
