425 nailhead open headers on the street

any thoughts on back pressure. i have baffles in my lake headers. other than removing them for the track. would it do damage to the valves if driven on the street for a week or two, hot rodding around town from light to light

 

Warping valves because of open exhaust is an old " wives tale" Don't.worry about it.

 

No , you'll put your eye out. Lol scare women and children too.

Baffles and open will/should require different tune/ jets.
Usually its fatter for more open. Just don't go lean

 

It makes the muffler bearing run dry
and give the gonkulator to low preassure
