Projects '40 Fenderless Pickup

I like your design work on the chassis.
The Sedan I built 9 years ago I did similar.

 

Chassis is complete, finishing the body

 

A little added protection for the truck is ready for powder coating

 

The bed cover, two ATV ramps a center section of aluminum and a finned aluminum timing cover cam inspection plate for a gas door

 

Working on having it painted by June, Ford's Cloud Mist Gray with Red seats

 

Tail lights are done, mid-30's Studebaker stands, cowl. Light buckets and Corvette bullet lenses

Front turn signals are 40's Chevy fender marker lights converted to blinkers

 

Are you gonna have it ready for the metro cruise?

 

Shooting for the June 15 Westphalia MI. Cruise In....a Thursday evening...they get about a thousand cars every year

This brand trip is mostly a new thing, there was a time when Hot Rods were built from whatever you could piece together.
There's always been die-hard Ford guys, but this same brand thing comes from the street rod world, and is stupid.
Of course that's only my opinion, but it makes for a while lot of stupid, when really, we should just enjoy each other's builds, instead of pushing our personal opinions on others builds.
