What modifications has been done to the front suspension. Did you install a new front clip if so from what vehicle.

I have a 1946 dodge truck all original with a flat head 6 cylinder and manual transmission. I want to lower the front and rear suspension. However I would like to install a 318 and 727 transmission. Can you tell me what kind of front and rear suspension you used.

Brand new to this site. Just acquired this '46 WC from my dad, and brought it home a couple weeks ago.

some nice trucks on here. I have a 46 to build, was wondering if any guys on here have repaired the metal splice on top of cab. I don't want to just fill it in. wondering if there is a replacement that can be bought? I know it would have to be tacked in and all. to make this strip myself seems would be to difficult.

I used the filler strip from the back of a model a sedan. It is a t shaped piece, available at Snyder's or other model A
part suppliers. You need 2 pieces to have enough

Thank you very much. Someone in metal shaping told me how to make my own and i thought that that was to involved for my skill level on sheet metal fabrication even though I'm leaning that.
