38 pickup progress

    Well,

    I finally got done boxing and zing the frame. Took me long enough.
    I am contemplating if I want to channel it more or to just leave it alone. Maybe I should channel it more in the front giving me a progressive channel. Thus giving the the cab a rake. Hell I dont know. Tell me what you think. Right now its about 4 inches off the ground. Btw I will be chopping the top 4 inches.

  2. is this gonna be a driver? i say leave it if ya wanna get out of the driveway. and how tall are ya? if ya channel it anymore you'll just scrape off all that metal until your up to what your at now. looks sweet now. what'ya gonna run for a mill? just my words of advice. keep up the good work...

    Think it looks great sitting like that,do the chop and then see if you want to channel it anymore.With everything in it,it's gonna sit lower anyway than it does now..looks good,always did love those trucks....

    Rake looks best when it's in the chassis, and the body follows the chassis rake.
    You can't figure on your finised rake without the weight of the engine in te front. put one or the weight of on in it, even if just for mockup.
