Technical 37 Ford Grille bolt

    What the heck is that bolt called that sits on the top of a 37 Ford car grille?? I think it aligns the hood up to the grille.. I have a hood ornament now, but don't have anything below to figure out how it holds the hood down tight.. Thanks for your help

    Here's the piece on the grille. There's a disc-shaped piece that goes on the hood ornament shaft that engages the notch. 20180308_165709-1.jpg

    there is an old handle on ebay right now with the eccentric washer and special nut etc for the hood handle-hard to find if you don't have it

    I bought one on ebay that is frozen to a piece of old hood. I can see how it would fit in the slot of that bolt, but what is that bolt called??
