Hey, Has anyone have any experience in fitting 49 ford backing plates to a 36 Ford, I have been told that you can do it and still use the standard 36 spindles and drums. Would like to hear if anyone has seen it done or has done it, it may be another option rather than getting 37 -41 spindles and 37-39 drums.
to fit the f100 stuff you will have to relive the top of the spindal and get a different bearing kit i belive. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5877&highlight=brakes
