'36 Desoto Airflow horn button

How do I get the horn button out of the steering wheel center, without damaging it?

(Never touched one before....)

alot of cars from the 30's you just push them all the way down and twist counter clock wise then the spring should push it up

 

Studeynut is correct.....just be gentle as the Bakelite nubs on the backside are delicate.
