Hot Rods 36-35 Ford Brake drum swap

Can a 35 brake drum be mounted on a 36 brake assembly?
Wanting to gain the use of the smaller stud pattern.

35 and 36 had different snout lengths on the spindles.

 

As alchemy says.On FordBarn is an extensive thread on this subject. The '35 spindle is 5/16" longer.All you might have to do is face off the back of the spindle nut.
