Hot Rods 35/36 Ford roadster windshield seal

Iv'e got my new Vintique screen seal , but cannot work out which way or where it goes.
It's A kind of "T" shaped strip. Does it just sit on the cowl with the top of the "T" towArds the rear of the car? How about on the posts? I was looking at the frame of my new repro chopped screen, and it has a "slot" on the outside all the way around. The screen seal doesn't go in there, does it? I am not concerned about having the window flipping out (As per stock,) if it has to be sealed into position, that's what I will do. (A picture would be nice!)

 

The T goes in the slot. The seal is part of the windshield frame, not the cowl.

 

OK, I got that in there, but the corners? Do they just get cut and mitred At 45degrees, and then maybe black silicon to join them? Or leave them "unglued" and see what they look like
when installed?
